As a DevOps engineer, my role in the project to integrate MariaDB with AWS KMS involved designing and implementing the deployment infrastructure, ensuring the security and reliability of the database.

I collaborated closely with the development team to set up the AWS KMS encryption key and to integrate it with MariaDB, ensuring that the database was encrypted and secure.

Additionally, I set up and configured the monitoring system using Datadog, enabling the team to track the system's performance, health, and availability in real-time.

Throughout the project, I monitored the system's performance and security, making necessary adjustments to ensure that it could handle the expected traffic and load.
